What Is the Golden Batter Rule in Banana Ball?
Each team may use the Golden Batter once per game to send any hitter already in its lineup to bat in another hitter’s scheduled turn. The scheduled hitter remains in the game but skips that plate appearance, and the next batting-order spot follows.

Example: The No. 8 hitter is scheduled to bat. The team uses its Golden Batter and sends the No. 3 hitter to take the No. 8 turn. The No. 8 hitter remains in the game but skips that plate appearance. The No. 9 hitter bats next.
Consecutive turns: The Golden Batter can bat twice in succession when the selected hitter’s regular batting-order turn follows the Golden Batter appearance.

What the Golden Batter changes
The Golden Batter changes which hitter takes one scheduled batting turn. It does not permanently move the selected hitter or remove the scheduled hitter from the lineup. The Banana Ball scoring rules still determine how runs become points and how the game result is decided.
